Amanda~ That is really exciting!! I can't wait to hear good news from you. How are you feeling with the clomid? I have taken a cycle of clomid before but I started having ovarian pain and turned out I had a cyst. It was a small cyst so the doctor didn't seem concerned at all. If things don't work out this month, then I will start on clomid for the next cycle. I have also started taking royal jelly. I've heard some amazing things about this stuff. I really recommend that for you Amanda. It helps with a bunch of things and one of those things is that it increases cervical mucus. The clomid is known to dry up cm so it could probably counteract that. I did some research on it, so if you have any questions feel free to ask!!

Lulu- I have actually been feeling pretty good on the Clomid. No side effects so far. That is exciting you will start on it again next month.... if AF shows this month.
I have never heard of royal jelly! What is it?


So last night I started cramping pretty bad. I also had some spotting. I don't think I have ever spotted this early, so I don't know what the deal is. I am not sure if I am going to start SUPER early, or maybe implantation bleeding? I am not getting my hopes up though. I am just assuming AF will show in the next day or so. Although today is only CD19!

Amanda - I am hoping that you were having implantation bleeding! I am hoping for a little bean for you SO bad!!!!

As for me, I am currently on CD 34, and normally would be freaking out a little since my normal cycle used to be under that, but last cycle went 43 days...so I'm still waiting. Boo!! I'm feeling like AF is just about to show though because I'm bloated and want chocolate something awful...haha!

Apemberton - was wondering how you've been feeling on clomid. Fingers crossed that it is implantation bleeding for you! Any other side effects? In the past several days I haven't been able to eat or drink anything, including water, without getting heartburn which then makes me feel nauseated. Wonder if that is being caused by the clomid and crazy hormones??? Going Friday for 21 day progesterone test...thinking positive thoughts of ovulation

gdgreenwald-Hey! No side effects for me so far. I am sorry you have had such bad heartburn. I have SEVERE acid reflux, so I am used to it.
What cycle day are you on?
I go Wednesday(tomorrow) for my CD21 progestrone test! I hope we both get good news with ours! How long are your cycles normally?


I called the nurse about my bleeding & she said it could be pretty much ANYTHING, & not to worry. She also said if my progestrone level is 14 or over I am either pregnant or fixing to start. If it is under 14 I am more than likely not pregnant, & they will up my Clomid dose. I am not sure when I will get the results back from tomorrow, but hopefully before the weekend!

Amanda~ I really hope it's implantation bleeding!! As for the progesterone, mine was 36.3 that cycle that I took clomid in, but I wasn't pregnant. I don't know if 14 and over would indicate pregnancy, but I hope that is the case with you. Here's a link to info on royal jelly:

And you can also google it and see reviews and threads from women who have taken it. My friend has also been taking it as wel and has seen a significant increase in fertile mucus around ovulation time.

lulu-Yes, the nurse said if it is over 14 either I am pregnant or will start my period soon. If it is under 14 I am more than likely not pregnant & my period is probably a few days away AND they will up my Clomid dose next cycle. So over 14 doesn't guarantee I am pregnant at all.
My MIL's progestrone levels were in the 70's a few months ago(yes she is TTC..LONG story) & I think she got her hopes up about being pregnant. Poor thing.
I really have no hopes at all. I fully expect the Clomid to take a few cycles to work & even then everything hasn't be ruled out.

apemberton - did you get your blood work done today? Results yet? I hate having to wait for results and my doctor's office is bad about getting back to me with results. Ugh. I'm day 19 today. Going in Friday for blood work.

Hey ladies! Looks like were all around the same time in our cycle. I'm also on day 19 and I ovulated on day 12. So I could actually test earlier this cycle since I ovulated 3 or 4 days earlier. I don't have much hope for this month though.

Amanda~ I hope the clomid works for you this cycle. Are you charting your temperatures? Do you know when you might have ovulated? And did they also do a blood pregnancy test? My fingers are crossed for you. You've been really patient throughout this whole ttc journey and I hope the journey ends here for you with a BFP!!!
