    Question Breastfeeding Books

I was at Barnes and Noble the other day and came across two Breastfeeding Books and wanted to get some feedback or further insight on them before I choose which one to buy. Thanks everyone! I appreciate it.

Book 2: Breastfeeding Made Simple by Nancy Mohrbacher

I don't know about these, but THE classic book on breastfeeding, the only one anyone needs, is The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding by La Leche League, the experts. Here it is on Amazon:

Well congratulations first of all. Researching about breastfeeding is equally important when expecting. I hope you find the perfect book for you...GL!

I found after the first month, I didn't refer the breastfeeding books any more (until he became an older baby at least). Consider checking out a few books from the library. You can check out the one you like the most around the time you are due and have it long enough. That way you aren't out any money (PS you will probably have no time to read once the baby is born, so read what you can now).

I agree on saving money to a large extend. However, this book called Breastfeeding Simply at http://www.pinkymckay.com.au/breastf...y/?hop=mum2mum is simply irresistible because it covers almost everything you need to know about BF. Some of it includes:
    - Preparation for BF
    - Comfortable Positions
    - How to latch on
    - Secrets in maintaining abundant milk supply
    - Express & storing BF
    - Painful BF
    - Alcohol & BF
    - How to wean baby gradually

And since it is an ebook, you can have it in your ebook reader and read it anywhere you want!

They said if you want healthy milk, you can count on chicken soup.
It worked for me and I hope it works for everyone too.

This up-to-date, research-based counseling guide was written for all levels of expertise--from beginner to advanced practitioner--and for those working with breastfeeding mothers in all settings: hospital, clinic, private practice, public health, and mother-to-mother. Its two-column format makes finding information easy when helping mothers by phone and its hardcover binding lays flat when open. Topics include the common and the rare and its practical strategies incorporate both the classic and cutting-edge studies that should inform our practice.
