    Question Femara success??

Hi ladies, so been TTC for 17 months now. Have PCOS and knew it would be trouble, 5 years for DD. She is 31 months now and was hoping to have kids close in age, but cant stress about that anymore....done alot of that. so got preggers with DD with no fertility drugs...did a dye test to check tubes, then did follicle study and BAM beautiful girl. Did follicle studies and that, no dye test this time, but now doc wants to use femara. im so back and forth on this. I know some say its no big deal, and others say let things happen when they are suppossed to, but that may not be an option this time around. I know hanging on the LUCK card might cost me alot of valuable time, where if i take the femara i could get preggo and kids would still be pretty close in age. a few opinions one way or the other would help me move in some sort of direction, because i am literlly stuck in the mud right now. my big thing is i fear about taking the drugs and causing the baby harm, and out of my selfish move now the baby suffers for the rest of their life, my DH issue is multiples. which yes would be tougher to handle but not the end of the world in my eyes. thanks ladies...

I took the femara, after talking to some friends, one of which did take it as well. Had success on her second round. So far so good. No side effects that i know of, now i need to take a shot of ovidrel at some point and get a sono and i think things are going pretty good.

ok last update on this topic, just for those who arent sure about femara. I took it days 3-7, i did get headaches but other than that had no other side effects. I took the ovidrel shot yesterday morning and we shall see what happens from here. so far no side effects from the shot either, so i would say so far, success. Now we just get the beautiful, healthy little baby that its mean to give us, then it will be complete success. hope this helps others as well. good luck to everyone in the adventures of baby making.

I'm not sure about femara but for those who are trying to conceive, you may consider the Pregnancy Miracle ebook from http://www.mumsafari.com/for-mum-to-be. It helps to reverse infertility in both male and female and help you to conceive in 2 months naturally. Read success stories and more info.

    Unhappy

Maybe i will check it out. after all that ive done over the last 18 months and just got a big fat no again. went this monring for the blood work to see if the femara worked and not 30 mins later got the no. i called the dr offc to tell them they are going to be getting negative results and im now waiting for them to call me and tell me what they think the next step needs to be. i dont know how mush more of this i can do. it took 5 years to get my beautiful little girl and maybe no matter how much i dont want her to be alone in this world, maybe i need to accept that this is how its got to be. i dont get how my sisters can just pop out kid after kid that they dont want, and dont do anything for and this is the fate ive been handed. i was half expecting this to be the result and didnt think i would be this upset. im really shocked by how much this is bothering me. the question is when is enough really enough. when do you not regret quitting once you gone this long? who knows

Be very careful using Femara. I had awful side effects- headaches, tremors, and horrible, horrible depression. Luckily, the depression went away 2 days after stopping the drug.
