    Default My first sonogram

    I have a question: When I went for my first sonogram, I was first of all excited to find out the sex (It's a BOY!), but mainly just wanted to see if everything was okay. Everything was fine except the lady said she couldn't see my cervix. Then she said "You have a full bladder, right?" and I said "Yes, I drank 24 oz of fluids before I came like I was instructed." Why do they tell you to drink a lot of fluid before you get a sonogram? And why do they want you to do it if they won't be able to see the cervix? Does it happen to all you new moms?

    My first sonogram is november 2nd and i should be lik almost 9-11 weeks prego.

    Interesting, I was told to have an empty bladder.
