mamaparker - I wouldn't worry about not feeling pregnant. I'm 25 weeks now, but in my first trimester I didn't feel sick or anything. Only tired for a while but that went away. I still don't feel pregnant most days except for my clothes not fitting and a bigger belly in front. Other than that, I feel the same as before. Be thankful for no sickness!!

mamaparker, just tried not to worry about it. I'm 25 weeks as well and I remember that the first few weeks were so odd for me, not having any morning sickness or anything at all. At every doctor visit I always felt like he was going to tell me that I was no longer pregnant, or that I never was.
My pregnancy didn't really sick in, up until I felt m baby move, and I said to myself "omg, this is really happening to me".
    good luck in your pregnancy

mamaparker, I'm 7 weeks and the same way. I haven't really felt "sick". I'm definitely tired all the time, and I notice that I get nausea if I don't eat when my body says it's time to eat (which seems to be at least every four hours... ). But it's mild and so far, knock on wood, I can eat pretty much whatever I want. My first doctor's appointment is Sept. 2nd and I'll feel much better when the doctor says all is well, but in the meantime, I'm focusing on thinking positively and taking care of myself and my 5 millimeter child.

    Best wishes!

    Default feeling pregnant?

When i discovered i was pregnant, I had nearly all the symptoms. As my morning (all day actually) sickness became worse and bras became tighter, something still didn't FEEL like i was pregnant... though i'm not sure how... i was wished happy birthday with my head in the toilet.. However, later that day.. the moment i heard my baby's heart-beat... that moment i felt pregnant... going for my first synogram in 10 days...
congrats... hope the sickness stays at bay for you... i wouldn't wish it on anyone that is lucky enough to be dodging this symptom..

Today, I had my first ultrasound/sonogram. Despite not having serious "pregnancy" symptoms, and not feeling pregnant, I saw and heard today that there is a very healthy, very active baby in there. S/he was moving all over, and had a strong heartbeat.

So I believe, more than before, that lack of morning sickness does not in any way have anything to do with the health of your growing baby.

    Good luck!

    Default I concur

It's interesting how this subject never really gets around but is pretty important. I'm 14 weeks along and I've had just about every symptom and then some. Having symptoms doesn't really make you feel like you're pregnant, more like you're sick or dying. Your belly doesn't grow much, and if it does you feel like you're getting fat and not like you're pregnant belly is expanding. You go through the am I pregnant still? Did I accidentally terminate and not even know it? And all those other crazy thoughts, but no you're pregnant. Until the baby starts moving pregnancy is going to feel over-rated, just know that there are others in the same boat as you, but we're all experiencing a normal pregnancy. Have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

I am just into my 7th week and I don't feel pregnant. I did feel pregnant 2 weeks ago before I even got a positive pregnancy test. I just felt different. Now however I don't feel the same. I've had none of the usual symptoms of morning sickness or nausea. I do feel slightly tired from time to time but that's it. And My breasts did get bigger, very firm and tingly but in the past few days it seems to me that those syptoms are reversing. I had period-like cramping for the whole week at the beginning of January and then they went away after having sex (coincidence?). Then yesterday I got sharp cramps in the lower abdomen by the hip bones. I called the provincial health nurse ans she said to rest.....It seems I should feel something more....cravings, indigestion, nausea, tired...something. At least that would give me signal that the pregnancy is progessing.
