My cousin is naming her baby due 2 weeks before mine Audrina, I love the name Adrianna and even though we would call her Aida I don't think we'll be going with that. My best friends daughter is Arianna and I love the Ana type names - Analeis Analisa etc. SO thats out to0!
If my baby is a boy his name will be Connor Austin and if it's a girl her name will be Jordan Rose. Both middle names are from my boyfriends family and as of now I am fine with that.
It really sucks when you have a name in mind and can't use it. I have loved the Name Ava and have wanted that name for my daughter since Middle school Im sure... Now that I am having a baby I knew right away naming her would be difficult because my fiances sister just had a baby 2 months ago... Ava Rose... Such a beautiful name (Im jealous and bummed out about it tho)
I love Rebekah but refuse to use it because its my hubby's ex girlfriend's name lol.
I love Charlotte and Josephine but my husband hates anything that can be turned into a nickname used for a boy (Charlie and Joey).
We originally wanted to name our baby girl Rosa, after my grandmother, but that's our cleaning lady's name, so it's too strange to name her that. we had to look for another name.
I've liked the name Paola for a girl, but was worried that people would call her Paula and that would totally not be cool. I also liked Bianca, but my brother in law would always pretend to spray 'binaca' mouth spray in his mouth when I would bring it up. And it bothered me that it only means the color white. I like to have a strong meaning behind a name..good thing we had another boy! I have a son named Caden and when we named him, it was really unheard of...he's almost eight. Now it is unbelievably popular, which kind of makes me not like it as much, since I wanted my kids to have unique (but not obsurd) names. My daughter's middle name is Annalese. It was the ONLY middle name my husband and I could agree on. My last pregnancy (I ended up having a boy) I finally decided on the girl name Eliana. It is Hebrew and means something along the lines of "My God, who heard my cry, or answered my prayer" I loved that! It was how I felt at that time, I had just lost my last baby at 16 weeks and was so thankful to be having a healthy pregnancy and baby. My other son's middle name is Zion-Isaiah. It was really funny when he was little, to hear him try to say his name! I think we will have one more, maybe in a year or two and I am completely out of names! All of my children have two middle names (we thought we'd give them options) and I feel like I've used up everything I could ever like!
Well, my favorite names before I was married were Lily, Daisy, and Ivy. Then I got married and my last name is BEAN! So...my best friend's daughter's name is Ivy. I thought it would be mean to name my child a flower + vegetable!
I like the name Ashlynn but my cousins name is Ashley. Now my friend who just found out she is having a girl is taking that name. I also like Ava but would not know what to use for the middle name. I wanted to incorporate something from my grandmother (Rosalie) who recently passed into my DD's name. I came up with Kaylee Rose. I also figured a new name and a classic one fit together nice.
My DH has vetoed Gwendolyn Paige, Madeleine Jane, and Carolyn. We have agreed on ONE girls name and ONE boys name of all the thousands of names I feel like I've thrown out! It'll make the decision easy when the time comes. Until hormones kick in, and I change my mind.
