gostomskiart -- I was so frustrated with my OB because I think my U/S for the gender should be TOMORROW. I'm 19 weeks... They're making us wait until 24 weeks, though. I'm going to go to this radiography place to get my ultrasound done next week. I'm not waiting a whole nother month. I can't. =)

Lena: I think I'm having a boy. That's probably just because I want a boy. haha.

Hi everyone! I will be 18 weeks tomorrow. I am pregnant with my third child. I am a bit paranoid because at 15 weeks, I started bleeding. I bled for a day. I went to my doctor who examined me. I got an ultrasound and thank god everything was ok. I was told that I had a blood clot. I have two girls. I will go on the 25th of august to get an ultrasound, I will be 20 weeks that week.
Lately, I have had the hardest time sleeping. I have back pains which do not allow me to sleep well. I am constantly turning right left etc. Any suggestions?

it's nice to meet you, sony168! I'm glad everything turned out okay a few weeks ago, but it sure stinks that you're having some difficulty. This is my first pregnancy, so I'm definitely NOT an expert. The only thing I can think of is stretches. I was having a little bit of back pain about 2 weeks ago. I started stretching in the mornings and after work (I'm a loan officer, so I sit at a desk ALL DAY) and it really has helped a lot. Other than that, what about a nice massage from husband?
I have been having trouble sleeping, but it's because I'm so used to sleeping on my tummy that side sleeping doesn't let me fall asleep as easily!

Just a little update.. had my first ultrasound today, found out that rather than 14.5 weeks, I'm at 16 weeks 4 days My little human bean was waving to me and wriggling, heard the heartbeat and it was just AWESOME. This is my first, and today is the first time that it's really seemed real.. in spite of the tell-tale morning sickness, positive urine tests, and cravings and gaining weight; today it's REAL. I'm so happy, and just wanted to share!! A funny detail, my due date is different now, too.. it's for January 23, which is hubby & my 10th anniversary. It's not diamonds, but it'll definitely do

    Juststardust:
I agree. I had miscarried in April, so when I went in for my ultrasound at 6 weeks, it made me feel so much better. It am due on 1/22/08, so we are a day apart. I am now 17 weeks. I felt the baby move last night, just a flutter, but it was definately a movement. It was kinda exciting, but scary at the same time. I cant believe I am already feeling movement with this baby. It took forever for me to feel my daughter move.

Gostomskiart: I think that it might have something to do with it. My husband and yours sound just the same. My Dh cannot believe what can be " packed back", as he calls it. I have been keeping track and I am seriously hungry every (2) hours. This isnt your normal, I need a snack, this is I could eat another meal hungry. Im not gonna complain, as long as all this eating doesnt catch up to me.

Brittneeskidmore: I am also having trouble sleeping. I try very hard not to sleep on my back, but my husband wakes me up at least 2x a nite to tell me I am sleeping on my back (This is frustrating in itself, why isnt he sleeping????) I go back to my left side, but just wake up on my back again. I tried to put pillows around me, but that doesnt help. I just wake up in 2 hours and need to move them around, because some random body part has fallen asleep. If you come up with an genius ideas that actually work, please share. i could really use a full night of sleep.

Welcome Sony: Jump right in and start complaining, thats what we are here for. Glad you decided to join us, and congrats to you!!!!

Hi everyone, well I found out Friday I'm having a girl!! She was moving all over the place (although I haven't felt that yet). I think knowing has made it even more exciting, now I can call the baby by her name and actually look at pink girly stuff instead of yellow and green (lol).

I'm due January 26th, so I'm at week 17 now. This is our first baby but I'm already wearing maternity clothing. I couldn't zip any of my pants up anymore!

I haven't particularly had any cravings. I mean, not constant ones. Every so often I'll decide that I absolutely must have...something. Once it was chocolate chip cookies. Another time it was Cheddar Bites (like mozzarella sticks only with cheddar). I eat a ton more than I used to. At least it feels that way. But so far I've only gain 6 lbs.

My doctor's office doesn't do the ultrasound, I have to go to the hospital for it. So I should be getting that done in about 3 weeks. I need to call about the appointment. Supposedly the nurse at my OB's office will set it up. My husband wants to go with me so I need to figure out when it is so that we can make sure he is available.

I've already heard the heartbeat twice. Both times it has been 145 beats per minute. The second time they did it the little peanut kept moving around and they had to keep moving the doppler in order to find the heartbeat again. Unfortunately I couldn't feel the peanut moving around.

My husband has a feeling that the peanut is a boy. My mom agrees with him. I don't necessarily have a "feeling" either way. Since I already have a step-daughter, having a boy would be fine with me. But having a girl would be great too. I'm not really picky. My mom has been buying baby clothing already. Most of it is yellow & green (gender neutral) but some of the things that are supposed to be non-gender specific look awfully boy-ish to me.

I am so excited about having my ultrasound. I cant believe all of you have already had them, and know what your having....Im jealous, Ill admit it. I dont go back to the doctor until the 27th for my normal OB appointment, and the nurse said they would schedule my ultrasound after that appointment. I hope they dont make me wait until my next 4 week exam. I will be crushed.

My DH has now decided that this baby is a Boy. We already have a DD (who is 4) and he says he refuses to be out numbered even more. I told him to pray boy!!!!
I have no mother instinct about what sex this baby is. I wish I had an ultrasound machine at home!!!!!

Well I had my doctor appointment and I gained 2 lbs. I am now at 128. The doctor says I am measuring correctly. We did hear the heartbeat which is always reassuring to me. I thought that I would get an ultrasound next week, but he is making me wait until my next months appointment on 9/24/08. I guess patient is key in this whole thing. The only good news is the baby is post-terior so we wouldnt be able to see right now anyways. Maybe he will turn around by my next appointment.

    How is everyone doing??????
