I vote for my kids being loved, understood, creative, imaginative, happy, healthy, and confident. And I do not trust the media to deliver ideas to them that support these things.
i am a dad and partner committed to sharing moments of laughter, play, and learning.
I agree - Confidence and creativity go a long way. My sons watch Miley Cyrus videos, where she is grinding and dancing suggestively, and they get the wrong idea about how young girls should behave. I'm doing my best to shield them from the media, but it's difficult.
Our children should absolutely NOT be sexy! Sex is an adult action and so acting sexy should be also.
I agree - but where does one draw the line? It's difficult as a parent, especially once your kids reach the 12/13/14 age and hit puberty.
