Default Birth control or no birth control

I just had my mirena taken out last week and they gave me a new birth control but I just can't get myself to start taking it. We havent done anything since I had the IUD taken out but we can't wait forever...we have a 14 month old son and we want more children so is it really worth it to start the birth control for us to just decide a couple months from now to start trying for number 2? I need some advice please

I would think it is up to you & your DH/SO.
Have a serious conversation & figure out when you want to try for #2. If it is soon..within 6 months or so I would use condoms or a different means of BC. If it is more like a year or more I would start taking the BC!

    Default what to do..

That's funny that you say that because my adorable hubby goes one day saying yes I want another one now and then the next day saying maybe we should wait... I know that we want to start trying within the next few months so theres really no use starting the birth control, the only thing I worry about is having the next baby premature like our son, he was 35 weeks and thank God he didn't come sooner but I've heard my chances are increased to have another baby early.. :/

Humm, well since you are going to start TTC within a few months I say just use condoms and/or track your cycle!
Condoms work just a good as BC & are less expensive. If you are regular you could also track your cycle & when you are ovulating so you know when to use the condoms FOR SURE, & when you can have a little fun without them!

I agree with the condom suggestion. Would it be that big of a deal if you got pregnant immediately? Because that could be likely to happen with no other type of birth control. Men hate condoms. Lol, that's how my first son came to be. =) "Do we have to use a condom tonight?" "I guess not." BOOM! Also, after having the Mirena in, your chances of getting pregnant are lowered down to 80% for a year after taking it out. So, you'll need to remember that while TTC.

    Good luck to you!

Wow I didn't know that! Ya I was thinking about just tracking my cycle bc it really wouldn't be a dissapointment if we got a suprise It took us 8 months the first time so do you think that it will be the same time period?
