    Default Trying to conceive again

DH and I decided almost a year ago that we would try for a second. I'm only 32, and all of my tests have been negative but it still hasn't happened yet! It only took two tries the last time! Is it possible that something else is wrong?

I wish you and your hubby the best of luck. I know what you are going through. I have a 9 year old and an 8 month old. We wanted the last two to be very close in age so we started trying about three months ago. We got pregnant on the first try with my last pregnancy. It has been three months and still no baby news. I'm even three days late and my hpt is negative. My cylces have been really screwed up since my son was born though. I have an appointment next week to get checked out. It sometimes just takes a few more tries. I wouldln't worry too much. Good luck!

I would suggest that if you have been trying for over a year now that you go and get tests run with your doctor. From there the doctor will be able to tell you if there is anything wrong or if you need fertility treatments!

I go with blue. You should visit your doctor about this to assess if something needs to be done. Meanwhile - suggest you check-up http://www.gettingpregnantblog.com/ for interesting / info on factors that help increase the chances of conceiving.

    Default Try this?

Hi mother-to-be, I actually just posted my success story in another forum but I thought I would share this with you (I am beyond ecstatic) and maybe this may work for you?

Just wanted to share my story of success with those who expressed frustration with trying to make a miracle happen & may want to try, or at least look into an alternative that worked really well for me. My DH & I were trying for baby #2 after the ease at which our first child came...no luck, even with ovulation monitoring.

A girlfriend of mine had a few samples of this menstrual cup called the Instead Softcup, which is really an alternative tampon but she told me that it could actually help get me pregnant too. After 6 months of frustration, I thought;, what do we have to lose? I had the softcup ready on my nightstand and did the BD and hoped for a miracle, and my DH and I have to say that we were so ecstatic and surprised that it worked! I am convinced that the Instead Softcup had a lot to do with our success, maybe it will work for you. Sending positive pregnancy vibes your way

I too have heard about the softcup, but this is the first time I'm hearing about it from an actual user. Before this, it was all advertisements, but now you make me believe it works. May be if I knew this 4 years ago, I could have avoided those 11 frustrating months.
But WTH, everything happens for the best and I couldn't be happier than I am now.

As for 'Mother-2-be', I have had a ton of friends that had no problems with their 1st baby, and then the 2nd one took a while. Then I have also had other friends whose 1st one was tough and the 2nd one was a cake walk.

I think getting pregnant depends on a lot of things and you can't expect conditions from 1 pregnancy to affect the next. Just what I think. I was the exact opposite of you!

You may want to consider some trying to conceive program http://www.mumsafari.com/for-mum-to-be. Hope it helps.
