Question Anyone Else Have This Problem

Has anyone had a husband that was told he had only a 35% chance of having a kid... and ended up having a kid... i had a baby before i met him, but back when he was in high school he had a wrestling accident, where the dr when he was 17 told him he only had a 35% chance of having a kid... that is what he told me. right now he is overseas and we havnt started trying... but i just wanted to know if anyone has a hubby that was told they had a low chance of having a kid and ended up having one (with or with out help from drs).
im just wondering if maybe back in the day he was told that or didnt understand so i would like him when he get home from his tour of duty overseas to get check out before we start trying so we know what are chances will be when we start trying.
so if anyone has any advice or has had a similar problem let me know!
    thanks so much ladies!

If he has a 35% chance, then it sounds like he is producing viable sperm. To increase your chances you might want to consult a professional and consider technology to help. I have not been through this, nor have I researched it, but I imagine that if nothing is "wrong" with you, it should be pretty easy and inexpensive to isolate some good sperm and "give" them to you at the peak of ovulation. - Plus maybe now there is a surgery or other treatment that wasn't available when he was 17.

If you want to try yourselves first, read the book "Take charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschler. It is about charting your cycles, but also has hints on how to increase odds when husband has low sperm counts. Good luck.
