    Default Summer Camp Skinny Dipping??

My 12 year old son has attended summer camp since he was 8 years old in northern Wisconsin. This year the camp has decided to bring back the age old tradition of skinny dipping. The parents have to allow their child to join in the activity, also my son would have to want too join in when the camp has the activity.

It will be well regulated and supervised by lifeguards. There will be no cameras allowed.

I'm not sure if I should let him join in on the activity or if it is even appropriate for kids his age. Has anyone had any experience with this?

    WHAT!?

I'm not convinced that this wasn't for drama, but I'll give you my advice: Find another camp, ASAP. That's just common sense.

Are you kidding me? They're really skinny dipping?!! I absolutely would not let my kids participate! I would also find another camp. If for nothing else but that I would be forcing my child to NOT participate while everyone else is.

I don't think that it will be a very good idea to allow your child to get to the camp, it won't do any good, instead if you opt for a short vacation with the family at some place in the natures lap would help your son feel even more better about it. There are plenty of resorts and camps where you stay for some time and have a good time for your self. I'm sure that your son will definitely ask you to stay for some more time.

I have a hard time believing that this would ever happen at a camp. There is no way this should be allowed and SUPERVISED by adults.

Are you people nuts? Of course let him go. There is NOTHING wrong with just being nude around other boys swimming. For how many thousands of years have bows been skinny dipping, and now all of a sudden it's bad? Sheeesh.
