Default 7n1/2 mnth old not having formula milk

My 7 1/2 yr old is not having his cereal and formula milk. I breastfeed him 5-6 times a day. He likes to have paratha, chapati and dal n rice, mashed potato, semolina with milk(without sugar) papaya, apple n banana. i have also started giving him cucumber, but he doesn't take dairy milk (as adviced by his doctor). he just refuses to take that. my concern is that beast milk alone can fulfill his calcium, iron and fat needs? Please help.

Yes, your baby should be able to get all he needs from breastmilk. Iron might be the only thing to worry about. You can try to give him yogurt and cheese for dairy, but breastmilk has enough calcium. Avocados have a lot of iron and other nutriants in them. Some people introduce meat at your baby's age. Just blend it up real well. AS LONG AS you are breasfeeding he is getting what he needs. Until he turns one, solid food is meant for practice and introducing variety. You don't have to be too concerned about how much he eats.
