Question To show or not to show...

Hi everyone, this is my first post though I'm an active lurker and have been since my first pregnancy some 5 years ago.

I'm writing because I am 21 weeks into my second pregnancy, my son is 4 years old and I have a sort of question I'm hoping to get some feedback on. Everything is going well, baby looks great but I'm not showing. Now I was the same way with my son and didn't really have a "pregnancy" belly until I was 7 months along but I was much more toned and active then & everyone including my Dr. told me this pregnancy would be different and I would show much sooner.

I know I should be thrilled... but I'm not. People who I told I was pregnant in December are asking me if something's wrong or something happened. My boss clearly doesn't believe my maternity leave notice and studies me every day with skepticism and even my husband's innocent "joking" that I'm trying to "pull one over on him" is beginning to grate on my nerves.

I'm average size, 5' 7" and 150 lbs and I've put on about 6 lbs so far, so it's not that I'm overweight and people just can't tell the difference, I do wear fitted tops regularly and still get that "she's not pregnant" look. I feel very pregnant and have all the aches and pains of a 5 month belly...I guess I just want to know if there are any other moms going through this and how to deal?

    Thanks!

    Default Its all good

I know lots of people who either don't show or they only show a little so its ok as long as your doctor is ok. I was a little on the heavy side for my height when I got pregnant this time around and I have not gained a pound durning my entire 6 months which concerns my husband, but my doctor says its all good. The baby is getting all the weight he needs and I am losing weight because I have been really active. My Stomach is huge so you can tell that I am pregnant. Dont worry to much because maybe you are super lucky and wont show for a few more months.
