    Question Double vaccination?

Today I took my twin 18 mo olds to the Dr for their 18 mo check up. The last thing is the vaccines. As my daughter is about to get her vaccination (the nurse had the needle in her hand) the Dr runs in yelling, "Wait wait?! There's something wrong with the vaccines!" I grabbed my daughter and the Dr went over her chart saying that some of the documentation was done wrong; my daughter didn't need the vaccine they were about to give her. If he had been a few seconds later, my daughter would have been double vaccinated. I left the Dr's office very very upset (in tears actually) thinking about the "what if?"
So now that I'm home and quite calmed down, I'm still thinking, "what if?" What if my daughter (and son) had been double vaccinated? I tried looking it up online, but I can't get any real good answers. I'm looking at their immunization card and I believe the one they would have doubled up on was the pneumococcal.

I have not thoroughly explored the above link or it's research, so please read carefully and take it with a grain of salt

If your child gets an extra vaccine it is no big deal. As a matter of fact the recommendation for children whose records are lost is to simply revaccinate them.
