Hi, gals. I haven't posted in a while since my mom is here helping me get the apartment ready for the babies and we are working non-stop. Everything is OK, trying to keep off my feet more and not lose any more cervix points! But I really want to move around because I hurt everywhere. I feel like my hips are spreading apart and I'm being slowly torn in half lengthwise. All the ligaments in my pelvic basin are burning.
The girl (on the bottom, so the one who really counts in the C-section or not decision) had her head down at the last gynecologist checkup. I hope she stays that way.

I hope everybody is doing well and staying off icy sidewalks! I am so sick of winter.

Charlie ! Good choice. It's a sweet name for a little guy and it will mature along with him.
Maybe we'll both end up with April babies, otherwise induction for me at the beginning of May. I hope you're not too bored and stir-crazy at home and your hernia isn't hurting too much!
My mom is going home at the end of the week and I know I'm going to cry like a little kid when she leaves. I'm always a crybaby but pregnancy has made it uncontrollable.

Yep, both my ma and pa are coming back for the birth (if the babies show up when planned) and will stay a few weeks to help us take care of them. Best parents in the world. As soon as we can travel we'll all head back to their place for the summer. No way could we stay here for the hot months--we'd cook in this teeny place. And I just need to go home! I can't do without it.
My MIL thinks we are going to spend the summer at her house. She also keeps telling me how enormous I am and that we'd better not have any kids after this because 2 is already too many.

Have fun at your shower! I wish I could show up with some cute little outfits and a baby quilt! Make sure you come around and tell us all about it.

I'm not sure of the weight, it's been awhile since my last ultrasound but at the 18 week one he was measuring at a 21 wk size.

:'( All this talk about Ultrasounds makes me want it to be the 16th already.
Not seeing him since Christmas is driving me crazy. Not to mention with his increased size I will be more at ease knowing it is a him. So we can settle on a few names.

I elected to not take the glucose test. Against EVERYONES opinions I didn't see the need to deny my baby or myself food through the before test fasting, pump myself full of sugars that I don't put in my body anyway. Just for the doctors to tell me to eat and excercise the way I already do. Thank you prenatal yoga

Anyway to get back to the thread, at my last ultrasound the baby's head was less developed than his body. A difference of a week and a half development. Has this happened to anyone else?

It's called matress wrapping, my girlfriend introduced me to it when her son would not sleep in any position but his stomach. He has been sleeping on it for 7 mo. now and I have one on my own crib matress. Hope this helps!

Yeah, around 18 weeks my little boy had a smaller than normal head size (a week or so behind his body measurements and behind his sister's head size) so I was really worried, but a month later he had caught up.

I did the glucose test and it sucked and didn't tell me anything I didn't know, i.e. my organs are working really hard and my pancreas isn't too good at processing sugars these days. There is no possible way I could eat more healthfully anyway.
