Complications

Drat! I just got home from the hospital, monthly checkup, and now I'm on bedrest and anti-contraction meds because my cervix is getting really short. He said it's still OK, I'm not in immediate danger of having the babies (and they're growing just perfectly), but I'm supposed to stay horizontal except for shower and toilet privileges. I back for another checkup in a week and he'll decide if I have to go on hospital bedrest for a while. I'm going to try to be really good.

I'm back again, gals, and so glad to be home again and still have the babies inside me. They were almost born on Monday night and I just got out of the hospital. I'll explain more later but I'm stable, on STRICT bedrest (could it be any stricter than before? Ugh), and now I'll have checkups every couple of days. I hope I won't have to go back for a while... I'm at 32 weeks now, and a few more would be good.

Anyway, for those of you who are carrying your first babies like me, please don't be as stupid as I was and wait around at home for a couple days if you think you're having early labor symptoms.
