    Unhappy Need some advice!!

As of yesterdays ultra sound i am 26 weeks and 6 days pregnant. My due date has been changed now 4 times. First it was the 30th of April then the 8th of may then the 7th now its the 5th of May. My question is how accurate down to the day is an ultra sound? And how can i figure out my exact day of conception?? If possible!? thanks!

If you know when your period was due (if you are quite regular) it would have been about 14 days before the period you missed having because you were pregnant. Dr's and radiologists estimate the delivery date due to the size of the baby This gives an estimated conception date. However no one knows when it actually did take place; the doctors can only estimate. Since our bodies are far from being exact. Hope this helps!

Be thankful they are changing dates. I am ready to have my baby girl but the first ultrasound said the due date was April 6th. But based on my LMP and when I did the deed (if you know what I mean), then it would be March 4th. My Dr refuses to change the date says he can't based on laws of medicine. Apparently they can't just go and change dates. The one is set in stone.

Meanwhile on January 5th my baby was weighing in at 1903kg. Turn that into pounds its about 4 pounds 1 ounce. I still say I am right. If that is the case. March 4th hurry up lol.

Ok, it is not just me then. We started trying in November and I got my period a week late in December. I took a test a couple days before I got it and it was negative. We tried again in December and took a test in January…yeah…it was positive. I went to my Dr on 2/2. I was 8 weeks (or so I thought). He had me get an ultrasound so I could hear the heartbeat (he told me later that the baby felt too big for 8 weeks to him and that was why he wanted the ultrasound). The baby came up on the monitor and I was like wow, that baby is big. The tech said, yup, that is because you are 12.6 weeks, not 8 weeks!!! My due date changed from September 9 to August 12. My hubby was surprised when I called him!!! We are so excited that we will have baby #2 in August, not so sure if big brother (15 months) is though. I just lost a few weeks of nursing though, my doc said until 20 weeks.

    Cool

It all depends on your cycle, how many days in between periods and how long it last. Most doctors go by 28day cycle. if you know the date of your LMP and how many days in between cycles this is a good site to calculate.

MBB, you might find these articles about tandem nursing and nursing while pregnant very interesting Many doc are not current on how to breastfeed while pregnant or tandem nursing.
