    Default Mac & Cheese

For all those moms who have little or no time to cook supper, you have to try Mac & Cheese by the company Dairy Delicious. Google them to find out more information. The kids just love it and it is healthier than the other brands.

Looked it up....they don't sell it in my area! And while I agree that we need to be feeding our kids healthier, I have a hard time on a tight budget buying specialty items...my daughter loves everything noodles, especially with cheese. So far I have just made my own sauce with real american cheese (melt cheese over noodles, add milk as needed), put less butter and more milk in the boxed mix versions, or just made noodles with parmesan cheese. I also add frozen peas and carrots as I boil the noodles so I feel like there's a little more substance, and she can pick them up easily. I'll keep an eye out, maybe my grocery store will pick it up!

Something else you can do to make regular Mac and Cheese healthier is add a jar of baby food to it. Sounds gross, i know, but it's not! And my hubby didn't even notice until I told him. I have added carrots or squash to it, and it really doesn't change the taste too much. And the benefit of the added vitamins is worth it!
