Hi, I am new to this October 2010 babies forum. My name is Ann Marie, I am married with 3 children, this is our 4th and we are due on October 18th!
Can't wait to meet everyone!
Hello fellow October 2010 mommies. I am Lisa and this is my first pregnancy. I am due October 3rd, 2010. I also have a 6 year old step daughter who is absolutely the most awesome little girl ever. I am definitely blessed to have her in my life. If anyone has any tips for making things go smoother with a six year old and pregnancy/newborn I would love to hear it. So far she's been great and we've been doing everything we can to keep her actively involved. Everything with my pregnancy has gone very well thus far. I haven't had any ridiculously bad symptoms and I haven't gained anymore weight than I am supposed to. So here's to hoping that's how things go for the rest of my pregnancy. I have my first ultrasound today. I was measuring a cm or two bigger fundal height than I was supposed to be last week. My doctor said its most likely nothing to worry about, but they are going to check and make sure everything is good. Plus, if the baby cooperates I should find out the sex today. It's going to be a long day until then! I hope everyone else is doing great so far and I look forward to talking with you throughout our pregnancies. I just separated from the military and moved to another state with my husband so I dont have any family and only a couple friends here. Definitely no one else that is pregnant right now so it'll be nice to talk to others going through some of the same things.

Hello ladies!! I'm Melissa from Texas and i'm 31 years old expecting my 2nd child due on October 15th!! My first child will be 12 years old soon so this feels new again... We do know i am having a girl.. yay!!! Not really showing yet but i can definitely feel a bump and I have started to feel her movements just this week. If anyone else was like me during the first 3 months, it was not good. Could not keep anything down and actually lost 6 lbs.. i've just gained them all back plus 4 so that is good. hope everyone else continues to have a smooth pregnancy!! October can't get here any quicker!!!!!!!!!
I had my first ultrasound yesterday and to my complete surprise...it's a boy! My husband and I were so sure it was a girl. I felt like it was a girl and all the silly old wives tales and quizzes said girl, but as the tech said, "It's definitely a boy." I finally got to see him moving around putting his hand by his mouth, yawning, and kicking. What was just a little flutter and a bump before I can really visualize what he looks like now in there. He was definitely kicking alot at the tech after she was pushing on my tummy for about 10-15 minutes. It was funny how I could see how much he was kicking but I could only just barely feel anything. She said everything looks good so far. It was definitely an amazing thing to see my little man for the first time and be super surpised by him. I hope everyone is doing great!
Hello mollies to be of October! I'm excited, nervous and can't wait to see my second king of the house. I have a 7yr old in school and he is challenging me. He can't wait to c his baby brother too! I'm so glad and thankful though even though we were wishing for a girl, I'm so happy to know that it's a boy now because the purpose of me wishing for a girl was to share shopping experiences, girl talk exetera. But I realized mommy was thinkin of herself and not thinking of junior having a mate which he really wanted. But as always as gods will he gave us another boy not to make my pumpkin lonely. I'm so happy and couldn't be happier. He is expected Oct. 30th but we think he may come earlier. Any mommies care to talk send me a message anytime. I love to make new friends and build life long relationships.
