    Default Playpen??

My son just turned 1 and weighs 35 lbs (I know! the doctor says he's fine). I want to start travelling with him, to visit my parents and other relatives. I have been looking at playards/playpens for him to sleep in when we travel, but they all have weight restrictions of 30 lbs. Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks!

Have you looked at a surround play yard?

Thanks for the info. What is the name of the Eddie Bauer playard? And where did you buy it? Thanks again!

how tall is your little guy emma? If he's on the upper curve of the growth chart then a playpen may not be a good idea as he could climb over the side. I've heard the surround playyard is great if you have the room for it.

He is quite tall, about 27". I wondered about the playard, but it seems awfully big, especially to set up in someone's guest room. I was looking into the BabyBjorn travel crib. It seems to have a different shape, which makes it less likely for children to climb out. Does anyone have any info about these? Thanks again for the help!
