    Are you pregnant?

I had the SAME thing! I'm now 34 weeks pregnant. I tried antibiotics, and lots of other stuff.. Turns out, my cough was from acid reflux! Acid reflux is closely tied to asthma. The "fumes" from the acids in the stomach are inhaled, which make us cough, to put it VERY simply. I started taking one Prilosec a day, and had nearly instant relief, although it can take a few days. I recommend you call your OB NOW and make sure it's okay for you to go buy some generic/cheap prilosec and try it.

As for the pee leakage when you cough, that happens when you're pregnant, and it only gets worse. Wear a little liner, and Kegel up before you cough or sneeze. LOL Lovely, eh?

Let me know if you feel better! I was SO miserable before I took the Prilosec, so I feel for you!

Also, for acid reflux... don't eat 1 hour before bed, sleep with your head slightly elevated for some relief. Avoid spicy foods. The acid reflux will only get worse throughout your pregnancy as the uterus crushes the stomach, forcing the acid up into the esophagus. Enjoy. Take Prilosec. LOL

Alright keep an open mind. I remember when I first heard of this trick, Yeah Right? But hey when you are desprate, you'll do anything. It even works on babies and kids. Before you go to bed at night was told to put vicks vapor rub on my feet, the bottoms, a thin layer, and follow it up with some cotton socks. Keep them on all night, it has something to do with the vapors that helps calm coughs. I did it when I was prego, when I wasn't, and even when my kids have a cough. It also keeps your feet really soft and smooth. I know it sound crazy but give it a try and let me know. Good Luck

The only time that I've coughed really bad like that is when I have bronchitis.

The peeing is normal, after you've had kids or when you're pregnant you're bladder weakens a little. You can do Kiegle exercises (not sure of spelling) to help with that.

Could be pertussis, perhaps? If you were vaxed as a child, it's worn off by now, and pertussis (whooping cough) usually hits in the Spring. I'd get it checked, just to be sure, because you don't want your newborn to get pertussis.

Sometimes, the only sign of it in adults is constant night coughing.

For natural home remedy try to sip Hot Tea With Lemon and Honey – Tea is known to have a natural soothing effect on any sore throat. It is one of the most effective ways on how to stop a cough. The added honey is like a coat on your throat to stop your cough.

Always make sure that your counters and floors are completely cleaned. Don't use "junk" products that are full of bleaches. I would recommend the Fuller Brush products. It's a key to getting rid of germs. Here's an excerpt from their website :

hassle until I discovered a helping hand from an established name: The Fuller Brush Company’s Original Stone Cleaner is a unique lotion formulation; unlike harsher solvents out there, it goes on smoothly and helps lift out dirt and stains quickly and easily.

For me, home care is a work in progress, but the Fuller Brush Co.’s Original Collection line makes it that much easier. I’m working with the Fuller Brush Company to get the word out about their trusted brand of cleaning solutions.
