Unhappy Any advice for a 20 FSH that was 4?

I bounced out of the RE's office yesterday expecting to go home and start injections for IVF last night only to get a call that my FSH had gone from 4 to 20. Needless to say "sorry but we can't help you" and my cycle was cancelled. My estridol was fine and I can't figure how I went from a great fsh to dead ovaries in the 2 months I took to get the rest of the $$ for IVF. Has this happened to anyone else? I was on BCP so I could get in line for the ivf and have been doing accupuncture. I am only 33. We were doing IVF because of my husband's vasectomy so I was completely unprepared to find out that I am the problem.

Have you considered using an egg donor? I looked into being one a few years back, but for several reasons, it was determined that no one would want my eggs. I was very disappoined. I have given birth to 4 healthy kids, but because ADD and ADHD run in my family, and I'm adoped so I can't give any medical history past my own, the fertility clinic said no one would want my eggs.

The clinics do a rigorous screening process for potential donors and I'm sure you could find a good donor.

I have never heard of this happening to anyone I know personally however, I have done some research on the subject. I can tell you that there are numerous amounts of women with FSH levels above 15 who have conceived with the help of fertility treatments.
