    Question Question about provera/clomid

    Hi-

    This is the first month that I've started taking provera/clomid. I am supposed to take the provera for 10 days, then get my period, go for blood tests on day 3 of my cycle, then take the clomid and then have the blood tests again at day 10...I've taken the provera for 7 days so far and started my period today...3 days early. So, my question is...does that make today day 1 and should I stop taking the provera?

    Thanks =)

    I would definitely call your doctor immediately and see what he/she says. Without speaking to the doctor I would not stop the medication.

    That makes today Day 1, but I would still call the doctor just in case. She'll likely say it's normal (even if unusual.), but I would still call. Mine use to start 3 days AFTER I finished the Provera. What's the blood work after Provera for? I didn't have to have that. Basically she told me if the Provera started me up, then I was able to ovulate and to just start the Clomid. (I know everyone is different. I'm just wondering if I'm in for the same stuff this time around if I decide to go with Clomid.)
