    Default Best Nursing Bras?

I can't seem to find the ideal nursing bra with proper support and comfort and I've tried a couple. I've read the ones with under wires in them are no good for nursing? What are some of the best nursing bras out there?

I love the nursing bras from "Motherhood" Maternity stores. They have various styles that I preferred over the ones at some of the department stores. You may be able to find them online if there isn't a store near you. Good luck!

I had bought one from Motherhood but their tag hurt in the back, I cut it but something is still sharp on my back when I put the bra on. I love their sleeping bra though, it's wonderful! I bought another one from Target but I think I got the wrong size, they don't really carry any type of nursing bra beyond a DD. I was a DD before I got pregnant, I think I must be at least an E or a G now but I can't seem to find the right brand I guess. Thanks for your reply though.

I tried out a couple of different nursing bras, but in the end, I decided they weren't what I needed. They were easy enough to unhook, but getting them re-hooked was another story! Plus, they had no support. Instead, I now wear regular bras without underwires. Victoria's Secret makes a nice one with a thick lower band and contoured foam cups that kept my girls looking perky even though they are no longer so It is easy to push the cup off to the side and then readjust after the feeding. I am currently a 36-C. I also bough a cheaper one at Target. It is not foam but does have some thickness and good support. I know that Motherhood Maternity sells nursing bras with underwires, but I was told not to buy those because they could press on your milk ducts and block them. Maybe this would happen and maybe not, but I didn't want to find out!

I would have concur on the underwire. My nursing bra from my 1st son had underwire and I got mastitis (milk duct infection) terrible!! I won't say that was the reason why, but it would make sense! I need to do some searching for a good one, because like CrystalAnn, my girls are not so perky anymore either!

    Cool Best bra ever

Check out www.jeunique.com. If I had know about these before I purchased from Motherhood, I wouldn't have bought them. They are the most comfortable bras. you are lifted (and stay lifted) and look about 10 pounds thinner. They are a little pricey, Start at $65 each, but the consultant may be able to give you a deal. You can always ask if they have any bras that have been return. They cannot resell them. I have 4 of them and gave away all my other bras (except the sleepers). Hope this helps.

Default my fave nursing bras are

from bravado designs. ( www.bravadodesigns.com ) i used a couple different styles, but overall, all of the styles i used were better than any other i tried anywhere else.

they are just great quality, and so well thought out. no nursing holes to contend with ( the whole cup folds down...) sturdy straps, really nice material and styles...comfy. the whole package.

but really , what sold me was how well they worked for their intended purpose...and how well they supported my 38 f cup! they also have tanks too..and i used those the most. especially for nursing in public...

    so that is my vote

I love Anita nursing bras. I am pregnant now and wearing my old nursing bras everyday. They are so supportive i feel like my breasts are at my neck. It may take a while to get adjusted to but my breasts are not saggy. I nursed my first son for about 10 months if that gives you any idea!

I couldn't agree more. I own four of their bras and nursing tanks. LOVE them!!
