    Default teething question

What is the best thing out there to help teething at night time and to help them sleep better?

We loved the teething pellets (all natural ingredients) right before bed time, along with motrin or tylenol. But my daughter didn't have a hard time with teething so it didn't take much to keep her comfortable.

The teething pellets were pretty great. Dissolved them in a teaspoon of water and used a little dropper to put them on her gums.

Baby Orajel worked well too, but she HATED the intense taste. Can't say I blame her, it was pretty horrible tasting.

my son had (and is still having) a not so great experience with teething. he has been pretty miserable. Definatly one thing is the mortin, works for us. We also put those teething rings in his crib, the ones that you put in the fridge to cool them off. He gnaws on those things like crazy. We even had to purchase a rubber guard for the railings on the crib, he bit right through the wood and started to splinter. I couldn't believe it! He's a beaver! We never had that problem with my daughter.

My daugter is also a "beaver". To help her we would fold a washcloth, dip the ends in water, put in a ziploc bag and put it in the freezer until it was ice cold but not frozen. She likes to chew on that, it's big enough for her to handle and it feels good on her gums. We alse used the Baby Oragel Nighttime formula before bed.
