    Unhappy Exhausted!

Uhg, I am so tired lately I can hardly stand it. I know it is because I'm in my first trimester and all but I just wanted to complain about it really. I'm at work and could crawl under my desk and take a nap!.......3 more hours to go and counting!

yah it does get better, but then it gets worse. I just started my third trimester and between having to pee every 2 hours or so, trying to get comfortable again, the neighbors dog barking (can't wait to move!) and my fiance snoring (sometimes I want to smother him) and then hitting the snooze button a dozen times in the morning i feel like I'll never sleep again. It takes me a really long time to fall asleep anyway on even a normal nonpregnant basis so the bathroom trips alone every 2 hours or so really make it difficult for me to get to sleep. All the extra stuff though like the dog is enough to drive me to insanity. I feel like a zombie.

I hear ya, lou!! I don't smother my husband, but if he doesn't quit after a few gentle nudges, I usually end up yanking the pillow from under his head so he'll quit snoring! And I've never been a person who falls asleep fast either. It stinks. My dh falls asleep in the first 5 minutes from hitting the pillow, and it's so annoying! But, at least the peeing every 2 hours will subside in the next two months, huh?

Well, I'm happy to say I'm feeling better so it sounds like I need to enjoy it while I can (through the second trimester that is) :-)

Lou I understand. Hello ladies. I just found out that I am pregnant with my second child friday. I knew I was pregnant since I sleep a lot. I ate a whole medium pizza to myself (didn't realize it). Sometimes I be at work and I literally go to sleep while sitting up. (I know that's sad LOL).

I loved the exhaust I got from my first trimester--LOVED IT! I napped a few times a day, I slept for 8 or 9 hour stretches, it was nice. Now--I am a four weeks away and I am work 35 hour weeks up until June 20, ten days before my due date. I don't sleep because of the heartburn and discomfort..Now it sucks..Enjoy the sleepy faze, you'll miss it a lot once you aren't able to anymore.

Jenn, I have to disagree with you on loving the 1st trimester exhaustion. I'm 10 weeks preg. with my second and I despise every second that I feel lazy and unmotivated to do anything. Lucky for me I don't have to deal with working a job outside of the home but it is dang hard to keep up with normal day to day things at home and chase a 2 1/2 year old who doesn't want to be cooped up in the house on beautiful summer days when you feel like you literally couldn't peel yourself off of the couch if someone paid you.

It's not that I actually 'loved' the phase itself, but now that I this close to my due date, and I am unable to sleep, I sure do appreciate those days.
