After 5 years I finally lost my last baby weight. My boy is now 5 but I had the hardest time losing this last time. I am a mother of three and over 30. I think after 30 my metabolism just slowed down on me. I almost gave up and started getting comfortable with my weight and lying to myself that the previous pants size still fit because I could still pull it up even though I couldn't breath. Lol! Two months ago my friend introduced me to the Visalus 90 day challenge and I have lost 9 lbs without suffering from starvation. I am so happy to fit in my old fav jeans that I saved=) I was so happy with the results I became a part of their company. If you are interested checkout my website http://malcain.myvi.net/. You can also check me out on facebook under Melanie Alcain. I'm from hawaii and i'm excited to get everyone healthy=) Thanx for listening to my story.

    Default It didn't take much!

I am very lucky to have always had a high metabolism. Therefore I lost most of my baby weight quickly, but I had a hard time getting back to my pre-pregnancy weight. The biggest problem was having no energy or motivation to exercise (a problem I'm sure all new moms experience). I found that if I supplemented my diet with barley grass I had more than enough energy to exercise. All it took was simple things like taking walks with my daughter, crunches, and some light yoga and I had lost the last of my baby weight in no time!

    My solution was two fold.
    1. Breastfeeding - if you can do it, it sure helps.
    2. Jogging - this is the way I did it. And I took baby with me once she could sit up.

Default I used my kids as my workout

Hi, after about a year I decided I needed to put the work in to lose weight and get those pre-baby jeans fitting again. I couldn't work out how to get in to exercising and working out while I had the kids with me, until I discovered jogging strollers. I got in to that and I've never looked back. Check out my blog with tips and all things working out with kids. Using my kids as my workout worked for me, lost the weight, gained energy and fitness and now I love it.
