I gained 70 with this pregnancy. I have lost 50 so far 9 mos post. I have cut out all soda, fast food, and smaller portions. I workout an hour 3-4 times a week. I feel like im at a stand still the last 2 months with the weight so getting a bit frustrated. I would like to lose 30 more.

Breastfeeding definitely work wonders. But for some moms, it is still difficult to get rid of those extra fats. I heard of some success stories at Pregnancy Without Pounds at http://www.mumsafari.com/for-mum-to-be. Believe it or not, it made them regain their self-confidence post-pregnancy!

I have a 34 waistline after giving birth but because of breastfeeding and just taking care of my baby and an older son made me lose weight that end up having a 24 waistline. Now that she's older I have gained weight again and now back to 34 lol.

My husband and I joined an adult fitness training class that we go to twice a week. We do a lot of cardio, circuit training and light weightlifting at the class. I've been doing it about 2 months so far and I'm almost back in my pre-pregnancy jeans! (I had a c-section 10 months ago)

I struggle with my weight everyday. I think if I had more time to work out, it would be easier. Finding time with a baby is a difficult task!

I went back to work after a year off at a stressful job, got below pre-pregnacy, even pre-highschool weight (but I'm back to normal now that the stress has become "normal") :-)
I did lose the weight by trying to eat a little healthier to set an example for my growing son, as well as walks on a daily basis.

Here's the thing, I haven't! I have tried EVERYTHING! Before my second pregnancy I would get upset with perhaps 10 lbs, but didn't really have much trouble losing it if I really wanted to. My first pregnancy cause a postpartum thyroid issue (which sped up my metabolism to the point I was losing a lb a day!), then it normalized. After baby #2, I have had NO LUCK losing weight and it is sooo hard to deal with. I have decided after trying everything else to go to a local naturopathic dr and try the hcg shots. I start a week from monday and plan to blog all about it on my sight: boyohboys.net. If you are curious about this and want to see how it works out for me, come check it out. Otherwise, I hope you're having better luck than I am and have not had to resort to this! Best Wishes to all

    Talking LifeChanger

I never thought I would have a problem with weight issues prior to having children simply because I was never overweight before having them. Boy was I wrong. After having my son (11+ years ago), I began exercising off and on but was still never eating properly. Then, before I knew I was pregnant with my daughter, I began P90X- I had to stop per doctor's orders though when I found out a few weeks later that I was pregnant. When I finally got the go ahead from my doctor, I started working out again - mainly cardio - doing TurboKickat my gym. Since then and after the birth of my daughter - 19 months ago - I've never looked back.

To keep myself accountable and inspired, I decided to become a Beachbody Coach. It only made sense for me because I already had plenty of the products and I knew they worked - if you worked them! I am currently doing Insanity and drinking Shakeology. Shakeology alone will definitely help with the weight loss as well as keeping you regular , and providing all the vitamins and minerals in 1 drink a day! I'm not only in the best shape of my life but because of Shakeology and exercise, I now have excellent HDL and LDL rates and am surrounded by positive people who want to make a healthy change in their lives!

So in answer to the question, Shakeology and finding an exercise program/regime that I actually enjoyed were key for me! If you don't like it, you will find all types of excuses not to continue to do it. http://www.banewu.com
