Here is my tattoo of a tribal bird with "AVA" as one of the wings (Ava means bird-like). She is our first daughter and we are expecting another girl in April!

We can be sure that tattoos are one thing our kids won't be asking for in a few years. Last time around their popularity peaked in the 60s and 70s with the hippies and the Vietnam War. When I was in high school and college in the 1980s, absolutely nobody had a tattoo.

As popular as they are now, no kid in the country will think they are cool within 5 or 10 years.

My tattoo is something I always wanted. So one day a few years back my best friend she was getting one done to show her love for her two children. Hers is awesome! So I decided I would get one to! So I did and now I am just trying to figure out what my next one will be.

The idea of a tattoo related to children or of children does not make sense to me. I had four tats at one time but had two removed entirely along with the legs they were on.
