Ive had the Implannon and just got it taken out yesterday (5/19/11) so that hubby and I can try to have our 1st baby together but my 2nd child. My daughter now is 4 1/2 years old and we'd love to get pregnant soon because the kids are already going to be far apart! I had to have my Implannon surgically removed in an OR setting because the doctor couldnt get it out quickly enough as the local numbing meds were wearing off so he just knocked me out. I have a lot of bruising but no pain and cant wait to get pregnant with baby number 2

I had my implanon removed on the 9th of Aug (6 days ago) and I am yet to have a period. I know it is really early, but I have felt so light headed for the past 3-4 days. I am trying to concieve with my 2nd child, but I am unsure about how long this will take. I have had intercourse everyday since the day before the removal, so there is a possibility for pregnacy. I also started prenatal vitamins on the day I had the implanon removed, which could be the reason for my head feeling like a balloon. =0) Has anyone else had similar problems. I know it is too soon to have pregnacy symptoms, so I am hoping to get feed back about my problem.
Good luck to everyone for conception!

    Default Hello,

HI there, Well I had the implanon for 2 years and just got it taken out 4 days ago. I would have to say it was a fast removal, NO pain and easy. Takeing it out was better then putting it in. I will keep yous updated when I get pregnant were going to be trying next week...PS befor you get pregnant you should start taking prenatal vitamins and fish oil pills....

Well I love it, never spotted, stopped having a period (hooray!) and it was worked for 20 months. I am having it removed next Thursday....now after reading all the blogs the removal process scares the hell out of me, but have any of you used Implanon? Have you had it removed? Did you get pregnant? Any information or stories would be appreciated...I am so excited to get pregnant again!

I got my Implanon removed a week ago ( Aug. 30th, 2011 ) and we are trying to have a baby. I would like to know how long it takes to become pregnant after the removal. Everything that I have read so far says that you can become pregnant very quickly and It said that some women said that they became preg. only a couple of days after the removal. I'm not sure but a couple of days would be nice. I will keep you guys posted when ever I find out for sure.
