This has been an interesting read. I had always heard it took a few months to get pregnant after stopping any type of birth control. Although it makes sense that it can happen, it just seems more the exception than the rule.

    Default TTC after implanon removal

I got my implanon out in August, and have been trying to conceive since. I just found out I was pregnant 5 or 6 weeks, and had a Miscarriage. I HIGHLY doubt that it was because of that though. I am still gonna keep trying to concieve though We really wanna start our own family!

Default trying to conceive after implanon

hello everyone, ive been reading your stories so thought id join in!...I had implanon in for 6 months and had it removed begining of august 2010, a relativly painless procedure, just fidley. The nurse said fertility should come back straight away, i had a period that month in august but unfortunately had to have some lazer treatment onmy cervix the end of august, anyway all went well and so i went on to try and conceive.I have 3 lovely children already 9, 6 and 5yrs..
I done the whole thing of working out my fertile period etc just to boost my chances i guess, although i conceived easily within aprox 4 months with my previous pregnancys. Im 6 years older now (35) so hope that wont make to much
difference.... its now october and no joy at the moment, but early days yet. plenty of fun ttc. Goodluck everyone.I will keepyou updated

    Question

I just my my implinon removed after having it 12 months. Exactly a year. I had every side effect you really can think of. It sucked, but that was not the main reason I decided to remove it. I want a child, Ive gotten all my other things in order and I am prepard to. My sweet heart is leaving for Florida in Feb for 9 months, and Im hoping for a summer baby so I would love to get pregnant as soon as possible. Please tell me within a month or two I can concieve?

    Default Possibly pregnant?

I had my implanon removed on Jan 26th after exactly 2 years. We're hoping to conceive number three soon. As of the last few days, my breasts are super sore. Is this as a result of hormone changes from removing the implanon? Did anyone else have this? My husband is convinced I am pregnant already. I didn't have periods while I had the implanon and haven't had one since. Only time will tell I guess!

I had to add to the thread.. I got the implanon put in on April 29, 2008 and I am having it removed this Friday (March 11th, 2011). I have had it in almost 3 yrs. Me and my husband are ready to conceive and hoping that I get pregnant fast. I got pregnant real quick after having the mirena removed in 2007. I had it removed in Jan of 2007 was preggo by May. I hope that it goes faster then time but we will see ..

I had it removed Friday & we are ttc. The dr said that since my period has never been regular anyways it's hard to say how long it will take for us to get pregnant.
