1 - I could not live without a baby book. I just think its really important to have.
2 - I also wanted a boppy because I knew I was going to nurse for a year.
3 - Also I wanted a second crib comforter set because I wanted to save it. This way I could give each of my children their own set when they were grown and expecting thier first child. I am too sentimental. lol
4 - I have a tradition for my children. For my dd I bought her a snow globe each year, for the first 5 years of her life. I just stopped at 5. For my 2nd child, first son, I am buying piggy banks. And I am stuck for my third child. This is probably not an answer that you are seeking, but I really WANTED traditions for my kids.

I couldn't live without my double stroller, I had the one that they sat one in front of the other, it was easier to get anound with for me.

I also loved my baby sling. I'd do just about everything with the baby safely stowed away in that thing. It freed up my hands to tend to my older son or just get things done around the house.

Here's a tip I give to my friends, if you first one is old enough. I had my older son touch the car while I put my younger one in. This way I knew he wouldn't get hit by another car and was right beside me.
