I'm so sorry you're feeling down. I truely hope things work out for you soon. it sounds as though you've a lot of love to give a child and I'm so happy you're adopting. I would love to adopt myself someday or do foster parenting. some child is going to be very lucky to have you. I can empathize with how you're feeling as far as not being pregnant, while seemingly everyone else is. before my son I miscarried and it seemed like everyone was having babies. I was really down myself. don't worry though, in time what is meant to be will be. there are so many children out there that need a loving home. I'm sure god or what ever spirits there may be are just searching for the right one.

Keep your chin up! What avenue are you using to adopt?
We have adopted 4 times in the past 4 years and the waiting never gets easier! The longest we had to wait was 6 months but we were matched then and just waiting. I am slated to begin IVF in October! I am not too hopeful but all the same it would be great!

I am anxious to hear about your experiences so far!
We had quite a few fall apart and 1 that after the baby was discharged to me and during the 3 day wait the birthmom changed her mind and I had to give the baby back. Also when I was present for a birth and a few hours later that birthmom changed her mind... It isn't easy, but it is worth it!
