Go, Sperm, Go!

You know that supposedly you can effect the gender by what you eat around the time of conception too? I have read a few articles about this and it might be a way to get a girl without risking not getting pregnant. Also, I get the fertile cm a few days before ovulation. The sperm probably arent going to make it hanging out up there if you dont have the eggwhite CM... do you do your basal? Once I got into the habit it became SO helpful. I always get a temp dip the day before I ovulate and the ov test confirms it the next morning... and it is very clearly positive (I thought it was pretty vague until I got the positive which showed up darker right away than the control line). Taking Charge of Your Fertility Software a HUGE help for me and made my cycle and fertility mystery-free! We are in the annoying waiting period but pretty sure its negative. I got the continous elevated temp after ovulation and my period is late but my blood count was a low HCG so, just got that news today and was really bummed. Hope it happens next month! Good luck!!!

how do you all know exactly when you have cm? ive been trying since may and this month i bought an ovulation kit im hoping that helps, whats the normal days you get cm? and how accurate are the kits? my obgyn said 6-12 months is the rough time it takes to get pregnant, but i'm trying not to stress about still not being pregnant, any thoughts?

I have been reading all of these blogs about trying to concieve a girl. I understand having a preference but what happened to just being happy to be pregnant. Not having sex on the days you think you may concieve a boy is crazy, you may miss you window of opportunity and not concieve at all. Maybe I feel this way because my husband and I have been trying for so long. I was finally pregnant in August and lost the baby to misscarriage 2 months later. I would be happy to have any child as long as it was healthy. I wish you all the best of luck and hope that you will not be disappointed but grateful if you have a little boy.

I have been trying for years and nothing happens. I had the norplant about 6, 7 years ago and i really think it just messed my all up. I'm going to contiue to pray and god will send me my baby girl or boy it really dosent matter.
