Carol & Paula in the Magic Garden 2-Vol DVD Set

Those of us who were lucky enough to grow up with the Garden -- a regional kids' show that aired from 1972 to 1984 and was the most successful program of its kind in the history of children’s television -- are still devoted to it. Paula and Carole (dressed in 70s-fab bell bottoms and pigtails) would play guitars and sing terrific songs, while enjoying the antics of their friends Flapper the Bird and Sherlock the Squirrel. There was a "chuckle patch" of flowers that yielded knock-knock jokes instead of seeds, and a "story box" containing costumes and props that Carole and Paula would use to tell a fairy tale. This is the first time that 10 episodes have been released on DVD -- an exciting trip down memory lane for the show's many fans, and a treat for a new generation of kids.
