Good Clean Food's Maine Cider Chicken Simmer Sauce

Chicken for dinner again? Turn that boring bird into a gourmet meal with this ultra-convenient sauce. Just pour it over a pound of skillet-browned chicken and simmer for 15 minutes—it'll be infused with a mild, kid-pleasing apple flavor. Our staff tester raved that it isn't too sweet, since it's also loaded with veggies and herbs. Low-fat and low-sodium, too, (though our tester did think that a pinch of salt improved it).

Price: $7 per 12.5-ounce jar
Manufacturer: Good Clean Food
Available at: Whole Foods stores and by the case at goodcleanfood.com
