Good question. According to Wikitionary: MILF: Mother(s) I('d) like to f***: A (putative) mother found sexually attractive. The really good question might be: Why is Parenting mentioning this immature and disgusting acronym? Half the world doesn’t know what it means (unless you're watching R-rated movies, like the one this term was originally coined in; and they actually had to work at getting it DOWN to an R-rating...ugh!). So, it's a good question with a disappointing answer. Surprised? Perhaps we ought to stop blogging about immature things that have nothing to do with being a better mom…and keep the ratings lower in the movies we watch.
