LOL! LOVE your take on "MILF" (& all the trashy 'Lynda's out there... in tacky floral bikini's and children at home with some teenaged, chain-smoking babysitter... presumably, of course.) My husband, being a "kind of crude" guy himself (LOL, AFFECTIONATELY said his adoring wife!), has called me a MILF since the second we found out we were pregnant (with baby boy #1, who is now 12months old). He must imagine it's this glorified, extremely well-accepted compliment to all of the bloated/ grumpy/ EXHAUSTED/ well-educated/ patient (the list goes on and on)mommies and mommies-to-be of the world. Although I'm not completely disgusted by it, nor have I/would I ever admit this to him (for fear of hurting his feelings ;)) it's kind-of... annoying. Is that the ONLY acronym he can come up with, after all I'M doing (and the body I'm sacrificing) for us and this perfect child?!?!
