Actually, my dad has made it
7/23/2008 at 5:32 pm
Actually, my dad has made it a point of bringing back t-shirts from *everywhere* that he's gone on business or has visited while away from home. I still have all of them, even the preschool sizes, and I treasure them because my dad, the workaholic if ever there was one, stopped whatever he was doing, thought of me, and found a shirt that he thought I would like. My personal favorite? My "I Love Purple" size 4T t-shirt (circa 1991) found in a shop devoted to purple things in the Boston airport when papa landed there on a business trip. It made my 4 year old eyes sparkle because 1) it was very appropriate seeing as I was absolutely obsessed with purple until the age of 9, 2) it had teddy bears on it, and 3) it was a present from my dad. Anyway, the point is, there are some people who actually do appreciate the tourist t-shirts.
