For some reason Target has this weird black hole of baby clothes between around nine months and two years. I get footie pajamas at the Carter's outlet or Old Navy or Children's Place. The ones from Old Navy are really nice, actually. Target does have really cute girls clothes though. Not that I would know. I think you're either an obsessive clothes shopper or you're not. I buy baby clothes at outlet stores, Target, Ebay, church sales, thrift stores, Old Navy, JC Penney, Walmart, Etsy, Gap Baby, and Old Navy. i.e. every single place I can. But I love to buy baby clothes so it's fun to dig through racks, for me. And I might want to note that we can't get Eli's dresser drawers closed, he has so many clothes. But if that's not your style, embrace it, and go check out the Target little girls section. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. After that, go to Gap Baby. That's where I usually really have the "these girls clothes are so cute" meltdown. And I haven't loaned out any baby clothes, for the same reason you mentioned. I feel like a meanie, but finding all that stuff took work, and I feel like I'd never get it back.
