I agree that it's rare for a woman to hold a door open for a man. One time my husband was carrying our two month old and some woman let the glass door slam in his face. I wanted to throttle her! Sometimes my husband makes deliveries to convenience stores. If he's pushing a dolly full of junk inside, he says most women will let the door slam on him. But he says the biggest, hairiest, scariest looking guys climbing off motorcycles will do a full-on sprint to get the door for him. I hope we're raising well-mannered kids. For the past 11 years we've been together, my husband has always opened my car door for me. And a few times, we've seen a few sheepish looking guys do the same when they're wives give them "the look!"
