The more we advance as a society in medicine we sometimes just need to go back to the basics of what women have been doing, stereotypically or not, for years. Rest is always best. Barefoot laying on the couch with your feet up is perfectly ok. We are so stressed and in a rush to do our day to day errands we really need to look at the last few weeks of a pregnancy and slow down and approach things differently. Bottom line is... do what you feel. Tired, sore, aching? Relax and take the time out for you. This will only help you and your baby in the long run. The errands will always be there after your little one is here. Hubby wont mind stepping up during this time to cover your normal activities either.
