I look forward to cheerleading practice starting in July for this very reason. The mothers (and some fathers) bring their lawn chairs and sit around while the girls practice. I have developed some very strong bonds with these women.....friendships I never would have experienced but for my daughter wanting to cheer. My husband always laughs at me and the stories I tell, as well. He is amazed at how much we share with each other....I tell him it's a "woman thing"!
