I have battled this

I have battled this "syndrome" for quite a while. For a while I battled a knee injury and it was a great excuse for not exercising. When I finally got surgery to fix it I realized the excuses were no longer valid. I then got it in my mind that this has to be a long term health issue. If I don't make this a habit I will have major problems as the years go by. I don't necessarily enjoy working out but have come to grips with it by using this long term fear factor. Once you get over the initial out of shape period I do find myself enjoying the sweat and adrenaline high at about the 20 minute mark on the elliptical. Other than that, thats about as exciting as it gets in terms of my workouts... but if you weigh the alternative it will hopefully push you through.
