If you nip it in the bud now he won't be like this at 2. I say to start disciplining him with either time-outs or spankings (which ever works best for your family). Also, redirection and removal from the situation would work as well. As far as the biting is concerned, I would bite him back. Not breaking the skin but just hard enough to hurt. Hopefully, that will get him to stop the biting. Good luck!

I am having the same problem with my son. He has been hitting, kicking, spitting, pulling hair and throwing things at us for about 6 months now. We have tried to "nip this in the bud" but it hasn't worked. He will be turning 2 in a little more than a month and he hasn't changed. If anything he has gotten worse. If you find something that works for you could you please let us know? We didn't have these problems with my daughter and so this is new to us. I hope something works for you. I know how frustrating it is.
