I am a mom of three with the youngest being 13 weeks old. At 2 weeks I had lost all my baby weight but with carrying 3 babies my belly is just not as tone and firm as before. I am in good shape and workout but can't seem to get rid of the loose skin. I am afraid of going under the knife so that isn't an option. Is there any hope out there for me???? Anyone else going through this?

I have had 3 also and am in the same boat. I, on the other hand, am getting the tummy tuck. I am very fit and I am so self conscience about this loose skin that will not go away. My youngest is 16 weeks old but I didn't get any stretch marks with him.....they are all from my dd(s). I have tried everything! The only time it came close to looking smooth was when I was dancing (tap,hip-hop,ballet,etc...) 5 times a week and NOT eating real food. All protein shakes! I don't wanna live like that! Who does? So I just wanted to say, you're not alone, and there isn't much you can do. Crunches don't work, trust me. I have no problem with the surgery....I am looking forward to it actually.

I complelety understand. I had the same problem, but something has worked better than I can beleive. Your stomach is so stretched during pregnancy that the deepest layer underneath is the transverse abdominals gets stretched the most. You can do as many crunches as you want and will never target the deepest abs. Not until last October when Restore the COre hit the market..Its a mat based pilates class for any mom that every delivered a baby. The class focusses on tightening the transverse abdominals and once that happens it lifts up the other layers which in turn helps you lose the low belly sag. It works. I currently teach the class and women are loosing the low belly sag along with inches around waist , hips and but. You can notice a nice amount of changes doing the class twice a week for 6 weeks. CHeck locally if you can find the class in your area and if not you can order the DVD and ball set used at www.strollerfit.com. Even if you are considering a tummy tuck this workout or video is a must in my opinion...too many positve results doing Restore the COre!! Good luck and don't give up!

I agree. The Restore the Core format is awesome and it targets muscles that are rarely engaged (even when doing 'abdominal' work). Those lower layers of abs get really stretched during pregnancy and in order to have improvement you must retrain them and tighten them.
