I have a 23 month old, stubborn but beautiful little girl who REFUSES to wear anything in her hair!! I am sooo tired of her running around with her shoulder length hair looking like a MOP( and an old one at that...), when it could be in a very cute pony tail with a beautiful bow or SOMETHING like EVERY other little girl I see!! BUT as soon as i make her look decent, she immediateley RIPS it out of her hair( bows, clips, hair ties...etc) and hands it back to me saying, "here mommy". with a HUGE smile on her face, and her hair all a mess again..... Does ANYBODY have any idea how i can make her keep it in??OR how to make it look cute WITHOUT anything in it.... We have quite a few weddings to go to this year, and i would like her to look as beautiful as she is INCLUDING her hair!!!
THANK YOU,
Tired of trying

As horribe as it sound if her hair is really long you could brand it down the back like a french or something, go out and buy small real rubber bands they are much harder to take out and really stick to the hair. That is what we did with our daughters hair. She would pull on those suckers and it hurt, and she couldn't get it out, and you tell her that is why we leave them alone. Eventually she gave up trying. Just make sure that her hair isn't to tight because some kids have very sensitive heads, and be ready to cut them out because they are a pain to get out. But after she stopped trying to take them out we switched to the normal hair ties. Hope this help good luck.
