Interesting news on childcare

I'm new to the site but wanted to see how many families consider au pairs for an affordable and flexible childcare option. You spend about 1/3 less.

I went on to care.com. You pay a small monthly fee while you are searching for daycare ladies. They tell you a range they want to get paid, but in the end you pick how much they get paid. They are usually college kids looking for a job in a tough market. We got one that no show no called, but our next one had been great. We have told her several times she will just have to keep going to collage until our kids don't need her any more. I love it much better then going to a daycare (I have several horror stories). Plus they clean the house to!!!! We pay ours $8 an hour and she comes 2 days a week. She does such a great job that when our finances allow it we give her a small bonus!
