I haven't seen any list on for good summer reading for children. I came across a book designed for Kindergarten and first graders called "All for Jade The Big Book of Nouns She Sees."
It seems to be a good book for children according to the website www.danielcswart.com. I am going to be trying it out soon, but if anyone else trys it (has tried it), would you let me know how it turns out? I'm curious to know.
I attached a copy of the cover picture.

Hello Everyone!
I have gotten a hold of the book and have made some interesting discoveries. This book isn't like the other ones. It is 50 pages that the child actually reads. Each page has a single sentence on it and only one word changes (the noun) per page. It has worked well for my daughter.
Why did it work better? Because I have found that most "educational books" try to teach your child the way that they say is better. It is of course, not the way the school teaches it. But this book goes right along with everything my daughter has learned in kindergarten.
Let me know your experiences with this book! Or, recommend another.
